Kathy Chrzan is the Principal Consultant for Montessori Initiatives LLC. She has over 30 years of experience serving as a Lead Teacher for infant, toddler, and 1st grade programs at schools including Princeton Montessori School and Princeton Charter School. Kathy has also been a Montessori instructor, mentor and consultant at the Princeton Center for Teacher Education in Princeton, N.J. She is a member of the American Montessori Society and is certified in Montessori Infant and Toddler teaching. Kathy is also a member of the Positive Discipline Association™ and is a Positive Discipline™ certified instructor. Her current focus is providing Montessori consulting to schools, helping to design and implement authentic Infant and Toddler programs. In addition, she coaches parents and educators on issues that may arise with children between the ages of birth to middle school, using Positive Discipline Strategies developed by Jane Nelson.
