First Contact
- Application Review: We will review your resume and cover letter. If there is any additional information we need from you, we will request it via email.
- Phone Interview: We want to learn about you, answer any questions you have about working here, and convey a few vital pieces of information to you.
School Visit
- School Visit: This is your opportunity to tour our school, experience the culture, get a sense of our classrooms and have any questions answered.
- Classroom Observation and Lesson: You will observe a classroom at the level you are applying for and then offer an appropriate lesson if you are looking for a guide position. The Head of School will observe you.
Team Interview Visit
- Connecting: This is your opportunity to connect with others at our school, experience the culture, talk to some of our staff, and have any questions answered
- Formal Team Interview: We want you to get to know our teachers, staff and your potential coworkers. We also want them to know you and how you will fit in at Magnolia Montessori School. You will typically meet with 2 or 3 members of our team for a formal interview.
Final Selection
- Reference Checks: We use references to understand your strengths and growth areas more deeply. The candor we receive here helps us prepare coaching and development plans tailored to your needs.
- Offer of Employment: After speaking with your references, the Head of School will provide you with a contingent offer of employment. If accepted, you receive the school staff handbook and a date for your first orientation meeting.
