Alyssa was born and raised in Siberia. 8 years ago, while she was a college student, she discovered the Montessori method and fell in love with its emphasis on respecting each child's unique personality and the ability of Montessori guides to cater to the diverse needs of children. Alyssa began her journey as an Assistant Guide in the Primary classroom, but after a couple of years, she realized the beauty of working with younger children aged 1-3 years old. In May 2023, she completed the AMI 0-3 Course and is thrilled to bring fresh ideas to the classroom.
Alyssa enjoys singing, cooking, and reading books with children, having fun and learning together in the classroom. Her main focus is on fostering independence and creating a calm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere in a rich nurturing environment. She is a lifelong learner who eagerly attends seminars and conferences to exchange ideas with other guides and develop innovative ways to assist children and families.
Outside of the classroom, Alyssa enjoys traveling, practicing yoga and pilates, spending time with animals, hiking, and exploring nature. She also has a passion for learning languages and is particularly interested in neuroscience, psychology, and nutrition.
The Magnolia Flower symbolizes perseverance, nobility and dignity; three values we strive to instill in our students.
