Alexandra has been working with children since the young age of 12- nannying/babysitting, working after school programs, being chosen for Big Brother/Big Sister programs in high school, and always knew that she would pursue a career involving children in some capacity. She studied Psychology and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Montclair State University. While continuing to work with children through her college career, she went on to study Early Childhood Development/Child and Family Studies, which is where she found her passion for education and discovered the Montessori philosophy.
Alexandra holds a strong conviction for the respect of the child and holding space for their independence, individualities, capabilities, and emotions. She feels that it is a gift and an honor to not be teaching, but guiding and working alongside young minds who have just began discovering themselves and the world around them.
The Magnolia Flower symbolizes perseverance, nobility and dignity; three values we strive to instill in our students.
