Lead Guide

Emily joined Magnolia Montessori in 2022. She comes with 4 years of previous experience teaching at Hoboken Montessori School working her way up from an assistant to a lead primary teacher. She likes to say that Montessori found her. She first discovered the wonderful world of Montessori in 2018 not knowing much about it. The second she walked into the building, she knew that she was in the right place- from the beautiful classrooms to the style of teaching, she knew she found her match. She then went on to earn her Montessori certification through West Side Montessori in 2021. While earning her certification at WSMS she became very interested in learning more about Dr. Montessori’s original intention for Montessori and that all children deserve an equal opportunity at education. Not only does she love guiding the child, but she also loves learning from the child and with them as well. When she’s not in the classroom, you can find Emily cooking something up in the kitchen, going on hikes with her family, or planning her next family trip!
